Similar to Botox, Xeomin® Aesthetic injections are an anti-aging, cosmetic treatment with specific properties that make it the best choice for those wanting a more natural, relaxed look.
Lacking an inactive protein contained in Botox, Xeomin® treats fine lines and wrinkles caused by muscle contractions due to smiling, frowning, and squinting. Xeomin® contains a very low dose of Botulinum A toxin — a naturally occurring protein that has been used for over a quarter century for the treatment of muscle contractions and spasms.

How does Xeomin® reduce wrinkles?
Like other injectables, Xeomin® temporarily reduces a muscle’s ability to contract. In turn, this reduction relaxes and softens fine lines and wrinkles caused by smiling, frowning, and squinting.

A Xeomin® treatment typically takes 15-30 minutes depending on your individual needs. A topical anesthetic can also be used to help numb the injection sites. A fine needle is then used to inject the solution under the skin and into the muscles below. Any pain or discomfort is extremely minimal.
What you can expect after a Xeomin® treatment.

With minimal recovery or downtime, you can resume your normal daily activities immediately. However, it’s important not to use any makeup for at least 6 hours after injection.
Swelling can be reduced by staying upright for the first few hours after treatment. You should also refrain from any strenuous exercise for at least 48 hours.
