What’s the first Step?
The first step to your HydraFacial treatment in the Boise area is to contact Renu Medispa for a consultation. During this appointment, you will meet with a member of the aesthetic team who will examine your facial skin and start a conversation about your expectations. Once complete, our Guest Relations Specialist can schedule you an appointment that best suits your schedule.
What to Expect on the Day of HydraFacial
When you come into our boutique Medical Spa for your HydraFacial treatment, you will begin by making yourself comfortable, because this treatment is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable! Your HydraFacial will be performed in a four-step process, beginning with a deep cleansing and exfoliation to remove any dead skin cells with the Hydrafacial handpiece. Many patients compare this step to the feeling of an electric toothbrush being gently pressed against their skin.
Next, the tip of the handpiece is changed to implement a gentle chemical peel. Unlike other chemical peels that are often aggravating or painful and leave your skin red for hours or days, HydraFacials use a non-irritating mix of salicylic and glycolic acids. This revolutionary peel loosens debris that can be found deep in your skin.
Your skilled technician will then switch the handpiece into extraction mode, as a painless vortex vacuum sucks away blackheads and impurities from all your pores. These impurities are collected and discarded, leaving your skin purified and deeply cleaned.
Finally, the handpiece will apply a soothing proprietary antioxidative and hydrating serum with peptides and other beneficial nutrients. This conclusive stage helps to detoxify, rejuvenate, and hydrate the skin.
While the face and neck can typically be done within 1 hour, the actual time will depend on the size of the area treated.
